Haivian Technology is now accepting commissions for independent audits of mathematics and science research.
The service is designed for researchers, independent scholars, technical founders, laboratories and organisations that need more than encouraging feedback. A Haivian Research Audit tests one agreed exact-version submission, challenges its claims and evidence, and returns a bounded report with accountable human sign-off.
The purpose is not to guarantee a positive result. It is to establish what the submitted evidence actually supports.
What is an independent research audit?
An independent research audit is a structured, claim-by-claim examination performed outside the researcher's own production process. Depending on the accepted scope, it can examine definitions, assumptions, derivations, methods, evidence provenance, computation, uncertainty, counterexamples, limitations and conflicts.
The result is not an unqualified badge. Findings may conclude that a claim is:
- supported within the accepted scope;
- not supported by the supplied evidence;
- contradicted within scope;
- inconclusive; or
- revision-required.
That vocabulary is intentional. Scientific and mathematical validation is rarely served by a single confidence score.
What Haivian audits
Haivian accepts scoped mathematics and science submissions where the claims, version and evidence can be frozen before work begins. Suitable work may include:
- mathematical proofs, derivations and analytical models;
- computational mathematics and numerical claims;
- scientific manuscripts and technical research reports;
- AI-assisted research requiring independent scrutiny;
- simulation methods and benchmark interpretations;
- reproducibility and replication questions;
- corrections, contradictory findings and negative results; and
- prepublication evidence packages.
Eligibility and scope are confirmed before private material is accepted. Additional compute, specialist review or material scope changes require a separate quote and explicit approval.
The Research Audit process
Every commission begins by freezing the request. Haivian identifies the exact submission version, claims to be tested, evidence inventory, intended use and exclusions.
The audit then challenges the evidence. The applicable checks may include direct derivation, source inspection, dimensional analysis, executable verification, independent calculation, counterexample construction, provenance review or comparison with primary references.
Finally, Haivian returns bounded findings. The report records the methods used, evidence inspected, conflicts found, limitations retained and the accountable human decision boundary.
Payment never purchases a favourable result.
Current price and scope
The initial Research Audit is USD $1,499 for one exact-version submission and an agreed bounded scope.
It includes:
- claim-by-claim findings within the accepted scope;
- recorded methods, evidence, limitations and conflicts;
- accountable human sign-off; and
- an assessment of whether the work is eligible for the complete publication audit.
The service is available to commission now. Secure online checkout is not yet active on the website, so engagement currently begins through scope confirmation and account or contact pathways.
Audit to publish—without buying publication
Researchers may keep their audit report private. Publication is optional, customer-controlled and never guaranteed.
If the initial Research Audit passes and establishes eligibility, Haivian may offer a separate USD $1,000 complete publication audit. That conditional second stage includes a deeper intellectual-property and reference scan and applies the relevant scientific, editorial, rights, disclosure and exact-text gates.
Paying for either stage does not purchase publication or a positive decision. The second-stage fee covers the additional audit work even if the final article does not qualify.
Eligible original research may be considered for the Haivian Research Journal. Attributable audits, replications, supporting or contradicting findings and corrections may be considered for the Haivian Validation Journal.
Why third-party auditing matters now
AI has expanded who can conduct research and how quickly a technical argument can be produced. Independent researchers can now explore ideas that previously required institutional teams. Established researchers can draft code, search literature and test alternatives at unprecedented speed.
But faster production does not automatically create stronger evidence. AI-assisted work can preserve a hidden assumption, repeat a source error, invent a citation, confuse a successful calculation with a proof, or overgeneralise a result beyond its benchmark.
Third-party scientific auditing creates a deliberate challenge layer between an exciting claim and public reliance. It asks:
- Is the exact claim clearly defined?
- Does the evidence test that claim or a nearby one?
- Are units, conventions and boundary conditions consistent?
- Can plausible wrong alternatives be rejected?
- Are adverse and negative results preserved?
- Does the conclusion stay inside the tested scope?
- Can a later reader identify the exact version that was reviewed?
These questions are valuable whether the final answer is yes, no, not yet or revision required.
Two newly published validation examples
Haivian has published two detailed validation records demonstrating this evidence-first approach.
The Taylor–Green vortex validation supported the central analytical reconciliation, required substantive reporting corrections and confirmed those corrections in an exact revised version.
The Exact Rational Computation Exchange validation matched 348 archived result digests and confirmed a 14.1964% fixed-suite byte reduction while preserving the repeated-context family where the candidate used 7.6579% more.
Both examples are disclosed as common-owner processes rather than arm's-length external review. They show the method and publication standard that third-party customers can now commission independently.
Commission a mathematics or science audit
Researchers who want an exact-version claim challenged before publication, investment, deployment or wider public reliance can review the complete Haivian Research Audit service.
Bring the claim, the evidence and the version you want tested. Haivian will tell you what survives.
